We’re passionate about the future of design, and dedicated to sharing the wealth of experience and insight that we’ve gained over the past twenty years at Mytton Williams. So we regularly lecture at universities, run placement schemes, and act as mentors to designers and students. It keeps us fresh and on our toes, too; we recruit the cream of each new generation of up-and-coming designers. Both regionally and nationally, the design scene is a dynamic, close-knit community, and we’re delighted to be so actively involved in shaping it.
We offer regular placement schemes for design students in years two or three of their degree, and we offer school placements. Working normal studio hours on live projects provides real insight into life in a design studio. Please contact us here to find out more.
Teaching and lecturing
Over the years, we’ve lectured and reviewed portfolios at numerous universities, including Falmouth University, University of Gloucestershire, and Bath Spa University, where Bob Mytton taught on the graphic communication course for three years.
We often mentor students and designers, and have been involved with ‘Design Buddy’, a unique mentoring scheme for students, which is organised by the West of England Design Forum. For more information please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
We’re proud to be part of a flourishing creative community. Bob Mytton is a founder and former Chairman of West of England Design Forum, and we’re still much involved in this thriving hub for regional creativity. Find out more at wedesignforum.co.uk
