A brand identity for a company that works with some of the best creative agencies. Simplified to bold typography and fun with words, the branding has supported this talented group of copywriters and has won many design awards along the way.
Sometimes working within a tight framework produces the best work. And often, with a branding project, we need to define that framework. When designing the brand and communication material for Ink copywriters, we did just that. With such a strong, simple name, it made sense to use this as our starting point. We made the words the hero, and let them do the talking, stripping everything back to a black-and-white colour palette and one typeface. With bold typography that gave the copy space to breathe, we communicated the company's personality, allowing it to show off its exceptional writing skills. The consistent use of this identity over many years has strengthened the impact of this brand and resulted in over 10 design awards.
