Milsom Place is a development in the heart of Bath with a collection of dining, shopping and lifestyle brands, surrounded by a series of courtyards. The many stakeholders involved were looking to revitalise the scheme to shift perceptions, encourage more visitors and attract great brands. With so many significant attractions in the city, the challenge was to identify and get across what makes this site different and appealing. Our research revealed the activities and stories dating back to the 18th Century, which we brought through in the identity to highlight the history. The overlapping type and images, together with copy around the theme of discovery, helped communicate the multi-layered nature of the site.
